Lesson Planning

Lesson Planning is one of the most important things that you can do in order to have a successful teaching day. When a teacher comes to class organized and with step by step instructions on how she is going to lead the day, she will have a good day. If a teacher takes ten minutes before each lesson to try and prepare because she didn't earlier in the day then that means that the students learning time is being wasted because of the teachers lack of planning. Teachers should have lesson plans for everyday, at-least for the first few years that they teach. It will help them keep organized and it will also give them ideas that they can use in the future. Lesson plans are very important and even at the end of each day, just taking a minute or two to see what went well and what needs improvement on will really make you a more successful teacher.
